Discover Ponta da Piedade, Lagos’s iconic landmark, aboard one of our traditional boats. Over approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, we depart from Lagos Marina, travel down the Bensafrim River as we share local stories and points of interest, then follow the coast to the Algarve’s golden cliffs and most secluded caves, accessible only by sea. Along the way, we pass the Roman Bridge, Praia da Batata, Praia Dona Ana and Praia do Camilo, enter caves and natural arches, visit the famous “Cathedral” and Barranco Martinho, and sail around the Ponta da Piedade Lighthouse before returning to our starting point. An ideal tour for nature lovers and families: the great variety of birds and marine life, easily spotted in the water and along the cliffs, makes Ponta da Piedade a magical place and a must-see in Lagos.
