Your private tour will begin with pickup from your Lisbon hotel or cruise port. The aim of the day is to show you some of the national monuments in Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as well as the landscapes of the Sintra mountains and Cascais. As this is a private tour, you are free to rearrange the itinerary as you see fit. Below is the standard itinerary for a full-day tour (half-day options will necessarily include fewer details and locations, and usually no visits inside monuments): When the focus of the trip is a visit to Pena Palace, this will be our very first stop. As tickets and visits are timed, be sure to let us know if you plan to visit the palace so we can design the itinerary and advise you on when to purchase your ticket (this often needs to be done one month in advance). After Pena Palace, we will go to the center of Sintra, where you can enjoy traditional pastries at a local pastry shop, or pay a short visit to the Town Palace, an 11th-century palace that has been transformed over the centuries and is now one of Sintra's most emblematic places, the Regaleira Palace with its impressive gardens, or any of the others. After this, you can have lunch in Sintra, or we can proceed to another location for lunch, depending on your preferences. On our way out of the village, we will head to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of Europe, with its beautiful landscapes, traveling along some roads through the Sintra mountains. Next, we will pass Guincho Beach, heading towards Boca do Inferno, a natural cluster of caves and tunnels by the sea, and then the Royal Village of Cascais. From here, you will take the scenic coastal route back to Lisbon. Return to the hotel at approximately 5 pm
