On a single trip, discover how the landscape and history change between the Alentejo and Extremadura. This private tour departs from Lisbon and connects three cities, each with its own identity, with transport reserved just for you and your companions. In Évora, the streets of the historic centre lead to the Roman Temple, Praça do Giraldo, the Cathedral and the Chapel of Bones. You’ll have the chance to choose the indoor attractions that interest you most and enjoy the city at your own pace. The next stop is Elvas, where the Amoreira Aqueduct, the city walls and the castle help explain the strategic importance of the border. A visit to Fort of Graça can be added if time and availability allow. In Spain, Badajoz offers a different perspective on the region: the Alcazaba, Plaza Alta, the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist and Puerta de Palmas make up the final part of the itinerary before the return journey. Allow around 12 hours for the service, with a Portuguese- or English-speaking driver-guide. Pick-up and drop-off are arranged within the Lisbon area.
