Travel through the history of the Knights Templar and along the banks of the Tagus on an experience rich in heritage and character. Discover Almourol Castle, perched on a small island in the river, explore Tomar and the monumental Convent of Christ, and finish, if you wish, with the flavours of a local winery. An elegant itinerary combining medieval history, scenic landscapes and wine-making traditions. This is a private experience, with pick-up and drop-off in the Lisbon area and a driver-guide speaking Portuguese or English. The tour lasts approximately 10 hours and can be tailored to your group’s pace and priorities, opening hours and traffic conditions. Optional indoor visits, wine tastings, meals and boat trips are subject to availability and paid for separately. The ginjinha tasting mentioned in the itinerary is included. Please arrange your preferred visits in advance so the necessary tickets and reservations can be organised. Pick-up is at your hotel, accommodation or a previously agreed meeting point in Lisbon; please be ready 15 minutes before the start time. On the return journey, you can be dropped off at a different location in the Lisbon area by arrangement with the driver.
