Discover the Alentejo on a journey through time. From mysterious megalithic monuments bearing witness to civilizations thousands of years old to Évora’s Roman and medieval heritage, this tour reveals some of the most fascinating chapters in Portuguese history. Culture, architecture, cork-making traditions, local flavors, and Alentejo landscapes come together for a day rich in discovery and authenticity. This is a private experience, with pickup and drop-off in the Lisbon area and a driver-guide who speaks Portuguese or English. The tour lasts approximately 9 hours and can be tailored to your group’s pace and priorities, opening hours, and traffic conditions. Optional indoor visits, wine tastings, meals, and boat trips are subject to availability and are paid for separately. The ginjinha tasting mentioned in the itinerary is included. Please arrange your preferred visits in advance so the necessary tickets and reservations can be organized. Pickup is from your hotel, accommodation, or a pre-arranged location in Lisbon; please be ready 15 minutes before the start time. On the return journey, you may be dropped off at a different location in the Lisbon area by arrangement with the driver.
