Experience the Alentejo from day to night on a truly special journey. Start among the historic monuments and streets of Évora, continue to the magnificent medieval village of Monsaraz, and take in the landscapes around the Great Lake of Alqueva. As night falls, end your journey beneath an extraordinary sky with a stargazing experience at Dark Sky Alqueva. This tour is designed for those seeking history, scenery, tranquillity and an absolutely unforgettable finale. This is a private experience, with pick-up and drop-off in the Lisbon area and a Portuguese- or English-speaking driver-guide. The tour lasts approximately 17 hours and can be tailored to your group’s pace and priorities, opening hours and traffic conditions. Optional indoor visits, wine tastings, meals and boat trips are subject to availability and are paid for separately. The ginjinha tasting mentioned in the itinerary is included. Please arrange your preferred visits in advance so that any necessary tickets and reservations can be organised. Pick-up is from your hotel, accommodation or a pre-agreed location in Lisbon; please be ready 15 minutes before the start time. On the return journey, you may be dropped off at another location in the Lisbon area by agreement with the driver. The evening session at Dark Sky Alqueva requires advance booking and an additional fee. Stargazing is subject to the programme, availability and sky conditions.
