Full description
Set off from Lisbon for a private day trip lasting 11 to 12 hours, combining wine, coastal scenery and Alentejo heritage. With pickup at your hotel or accommodation, the route takes you to Azeitão, the Arrábida Mountains and Évora. In Azeitão, discover a region with a long winemaking tradition, with the option to visit Bacalhôa and enjoy a tasting. This activity is optional, costs extra, and is subject to booking and availability. Continue through Arrábida to take in mountain and sea views, with photo stops when access and conditions allow. São Filipe Fort is another highlight of this part of the tour. Head to Évora to explore the historic center, the Roman Temple and Giraldo Square. The Cathedral and Chapel of Bones may be included as indoor visits; admission tickets are not included. The itinerary allows time to stroll through the city streets and soak up the Alentejo atmosphere. A stop in Vendas Novas may round out the return journey, depending on the pace of the day. Meals, wine tastings, paid admission tickets and personal expenses are not included. The order and duration of visits may change due to traffic and opening hours.
