Enjoy a private day exploring two of Portugal’s most iconic destinations: Fátima and Sintra. With pickup from your hotel or accommodation in Lisbon, this 11- to 12-hour tour combines an important pilgrimage site with the cultural landscape of the Sintra mountains. In Fátima, visit the Sanctuary, the Chapel of the Apparitions and the basilicas. Take time to walk around the grounds and soak up the atmosphere, while respecting worship services. Continue on to Sintra, where the streets of the historic center and its palaces reveal different chapters of Portuguese history. Explore the grounds of Quinta da Regaleira and Pena Palace on optional visits; tickets are paid separately, and entry is subject to reservations and availability. Sintra National Palace is another highlight along the way. The itinerary must be adjusted to entry times and the time available: visits inside all the monuments on the same day cannot be guaranteed. We recommend agreeing on your group’s priorities in advance. Travel by private vehicle and return to a location in Lisbon agreed with your driver.
