Full description
Tuk-Tuk ride through Chiado, Bairro Alto, Príncipe Real and Jardim da Estrela If you prefer to explore Lisbon’s chicest and most bohemian neighborhoods, this is the ideal tour for you. The tour starts in the Chiado district, where famous artists and writers used to frequent the cafés and bookshops. We’ll pass by Bertrand Bookstore, the oldest bookstore in the world still open to the public. Chiado is also home to theaters (Trindade, São Luís and São Carlos) and some of the city’s best restaurants, including two with Michelin stars (Alma and Belcanto). We’ll pass by Carmo Convent, a symbol of the 1755 earthquake, and continue past the famous Glória and Bica funiculars, stopping at the São Pedro de Alcântara viewpoint, which offers a 180-degree view of Lisbon. We couldn’t leave out a visit to the Príncipe Real neighborhood, with its galleries, independent shops and restaurants, and finally the famous Bairro Alto, synonymous with Lisbon’s bohemian lifestyle, with its bars, restaurants and fado houses. Enjoy the ride!
